Meridian / Where we operate
West Africa presents a divided risk picture. The coastal economies of Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal, Benin and Togo remain broadly workable, though they face spillover from the Sahel and maritime crime in the Gulf of Guinea. Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger are a harder proposition, with active insurgencies, military governments and a shrinking international presence. Nigeria carries its own distinct risks depending on where you operate, from kidnap for ransom to communal violence.
Meridian supports clients across this spectrum. We provide protective services and journey management in the Sahel, guard force management and site security in the coastal states, and threat reporting for organisations weighing entry or continued presence.
Engagements are led by senior personnel and delivered by trained, vetted officers. Enquiries are treated in confidence.
